About CORM

CORM (Celebration Outreach Ministries) was founded by Celebration Church.  Celebration Church is a Kingdom-minded church that has been doing ministry in New Orleans since it first formed as a church 16 years ago.  Hurricane Katrina not only affected all of our lives personally, but also created new opportunities for our ministry here in New Orleans. Our Senior Pastor Dennis Watson commissioned Celebration Church to start its Disaster Recovery Ministry with a Relief Center that opened its doors on September 5th of 2005 just 7 days after Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. In the fall of 2007, Celebration Outreach Ministries (CORM) was founded to help serve those in and around the city. CORM is currently housing mission teams and setting up ministry opportunities in the city for teams to serve, to work, and to share with the people impacted by Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav and Ike. God is still doing remarkable things in the city of New Orleans today just over 3 years after Hurricane Katrina. The pastors are unified, and more people are responding to the gospel every day. We’ve seen God do amazing work the last few years, but there is still much more to do; even more so now, in the aftermath of Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.

Our facility houses up to 110 people on adult sized twin bunk beds, with central air & heat, and we provide showers, 3 meals a day, and a gathering space as well.
